Our world is a noisy, busy place. Our nervous systems often operate on overload. What we all can use is some peace and quiet. Time to unwind and relax. Join us for this incredible weekend of connection and self-care! The weekend will be filled with opportunities to dive into nature, explore and deepen your meditation practice, enjoy some much-needed quiet, completely unplug, eat delicious and nutritious food, move your body, and boost your physical and emotional well-being It is a rare and unique opportunity to completely unplug from all the noise in the world so you can reconnect to yourself, your joy, and your inner peace.

Won Dharma Center
Conveniently located in a rural setting near New York City and Boston, the Won Dharma Center is set on 426 acres in Claverack in upstate New York, overlooking the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountains. Surrounded by wooded foothills with a nearby brook, the retreat center is a serene natural setting for contemplation and renewal. A green community designed with sensitivity to nature and issues of Sustainable Design, the center consists of eco-friendly buildings designed to provide a tranquil and meditative atmosphere. The Won Dharma Center won the 2010 Design Award from Faith & Form / IFRAA International Awards Program for Religious Art and Architecture.

This is an overview of our retreat schedule for our Spring 2024 Meditation Retreat, which is subject to change.
Friday
- 3:00 – 5:30 pm: Guest Check-in
- 6:00 – 6:45 pm: Welcome Dinner
- 7:15 – 8:00 pm : Welcome Session & Orientation
- 8:00 – 9:00 pm: Evening Meditation, Instruction & Yoga Nidra
- Noble Silence begins
Saturday
- 7:15 am: Optional Morning Meditation
- 8:00 – 8:45 am: Silent Breakfast
- 9:00 – 9:45 am : Morning Meditation & Dharma Talk
- 10:00 – 12:00 pm: Forest Bathing
- 12:00 – 12:45 pm: Silent Lunch
- 1:30 – 3:00 pm: Dharma Talk and Meditation Session
- 3:30 – 5:30 pm: Free time to hike, rest, practice yoga
- 3:30 – 4:30 pm: Mindfulness Based Gentle Yoga
- 6:00 – 6:45 pm: Silent Dinner
- 7:00 – 7:30 pm: Evening Dharma Talk & Program
Sunday
- 7:15 AM – 8:00 AM – Optional Morning Meditation or Morning Yoga
- 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM – Silent Breakfast
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Morning Mindfulness Session and Talk
- 10:00 AM – 12 PM – Closing Circle
- 12:30 PM – 12:45 PM – Closing Lunch
- 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM – Guest Check Out
Participants are asked to enter Noble Silence from Friday evening to Sunday morning. This gives each participant the opportunity to sink deeply into mindfulness, being truly present where you are, with your experience. Each session is guided by the retreat leaders. There will be time throughout the weekend for Q & A and discussion with the retreat leaders. Throughout the weekend, you will be supported and guided through this truly a unique and transformative experience!
